The Pascagoula River Audubon center offers a variety of spaces and options to hold events and meetings that are sure to please your guests, whether you have something casual or formal in mind.
Our primary space is within the Moss Point Fine Art Gallery. This fantastic room offers high quality visual art, superior lighting, highlight windows. This space is ideal for special events such as luncheons, weddings, business meetings, celebrations and presentations.
Art Gallery Amenities
The gallery space has ample overflow for guests onto wide porches which overlook the water and grounds. These areas are ideal for live music, refreshments, mingling, or enjoying the view from one of the porch rocking chairs. During breaks or intermissions, guests can casually walk our 10 acres site and view beautiful trees, open areas, and wooded walkways leading to the water’s edge.
The area underneath our building, now known as "Dixie's Perch", is also a prime location for social gatherings, food events, birthday parties, and can accommodate 50 to 60 people. It features pillars painted with nature scenes, eight 8-foot long wooden picnic tables, and fans to keep the breeze blowing. A 12-foot long wooden and tin bar is a favorite spot for serving food and beverages and includes a large ice maker and a refrigerator. The string party lights make The Perch a great place for live entertainment and for outdoor socialization.
